BANNER PUBLIC SCHOOLS

 

 

As required by Section 311, Title 25 of the Oklahoma Statutes, notice is hereby given that the Board of Education of Elementary School District No. 31 of Canadian County, Oklahoma will hold a Regular Meeting on July 17, 2023, at six o’clock p.m., at the Banner School Cafeteria, Banner Public Schools, at 2455 N. Banner Road, El Reno, Oklahoma 73036.

The following is a list of the business to be conducted by the Board of Education at the aforementioned meeting:

Open Issues:

1.    Consent Agenda.

All of the following items, which concern reports and items of a routine nature normally approved at board meetings, will be approved by one vote unless any board member desires to have a separate vote on any or all of these items. The consent agenda consists of the discussion, consideration and approval of the following items:

  1. Minutes of the June 12, 2023 regular board meeting,
  2. Minutes of the June 27, 2023 special board meeting,
  3. Encumbrances:

           1. General Fund New: 1-174  and 70001- 70003 for $1,418,279.65

           2. Building Fund New: 1-9 for $66,980.50

           3. Child Nutrition Fund New: 1-16 for $126,475.00

  1. Treasurer's Report,
  2. Activity Fund Reports

 

2. Discussion and possible board action to add Ben-E-Keith as a new Child Nutrition Vendor for the 2023/2024 school year.

 

3. Discussion and possible board action regarding the 2023/2024 Banner School Activity Fund Budget and Fundraisers.

 

4. Discussion and possible board action regarding the 2022/2023 General Fund, Building Fund and Child Nutrition Fund Reserve.

 

 

5. Discussion and possible board action regarding the 2023/2024 contractual agreement between The Center for Education Law and Banner School District.

 

6. Discussion and possible board action regarding the new 2023/2024 Salary Schedule.

 

7.  Discussion and possible board action regarding the new 2023/2024 Oklahoma    School Assurance Group (OSAG).
