As required by Section 311, Title 25 of the Oklahoma Statutes, notice is hereby given that the Board of Education of Banner Elementary School District No. 31 of Canadian County, Oklahoma will hold a SPECIAL MEETING on May 25th, 2023 at three o’clock p.m., in the Banner School Cafeteria, Banner Public School, located at 2455 N. Banner Road, El Reno, Oklahoma 73036.

The following is a list of the business to be conducted by the Board of Education at the above meeting:
Call to order.
Roll call.
Open Issues:
1. Proposed executive session to discuss
(1) the resignation of Lori Merhib,
(2) amending the contract of Jamie Burtner as Transitional Superintendent,
pursuant to 25 O.S., Section 307(B)(1).
2. Vote to convene or not to convene into executive session.
3. Acknowledge return to open session.
4. Executive Session Minutes Compliance Announcement.
5. Discussion and possible action to accept the resignation of Lori Merhib per
written agreement.
6. Discussion and possible board action to amend the contract of Jamie
Burtner as Transitional Superintendent.
Encumbrance Approval:
Board to consider the following encumbrances and change orders with possible action:
a.Child Nutrition Fund New- 19, 20 for a total of $18,003.22
b. Child Nutrition Fund Change – 11, 13 14 for a decrease of $11,998.00
