Flood Zone Maps and How it Effects Bus Stops

This is an image of our local flood zones. Please be aware that your students may need to make alternate arrangements to get to school in the event of flooding.  Students who live North of 50th Street will not have bus service if the roads are closed.  Typically people living in this area have to travel north and then east to the turnpike in order to navigate the flooded areas.  Students who live on roads that have water covering the roadway will not have bus service unless there is an alternate route to the bus stop.  The buses will not travel through water on the roadway or circumnavigate road closed signs.  If you have any questions, please contact your bus driver.
