The Banner Board of Education will be conducting a special meeting on the 12th day of October, 2020, at 6:00 p.m.
This meeting will include teleconferencing but there will be parties present in the cafeteria at 2455 N. Banner Road, El Reno, OK.

As required by Section 311, Title 25 of the Oklahoma Statutes, notice is hereby given that the Board of Education of Elementary School District No. 31 of Canadian County, Oklahoma will hold a Special Virtual and Physical Meeting on October 12, 2020, at six o’clock p.m., in the Banner School Cafeteria, Banner Public School located at 2455 N. Banner Road, El Reno, Oklahoma.

1. Discussion and possible board action regarding the 2021 Annual Election Resolution.
2. Discussion and possible board action regarding the 2021 Banner BOE Meeting Calendar.
3. Motion to convene in Executive Session to discuss the temporary part-time employment and 2020/2021 employment contract of certified personnel and the temporary employment and 2020/2021 employment contract of support personnel pursuant to 25 O.S. Section 307(b)(1).
4. Motion to return to Open Session.
5. Executive Session Minutes Compliance Statement.
6. Superintendent’s recommendation regarding the temporary part-time employment and 2020/2021 employment contract of certified personnel and the temporary employment and 2020/2021 employment contract of support personnel.
7. Discussion and possible board action regarding the temporary part-time employment and 2020/2021 employment contract of certified personnel and the temporary employment and 2020/2021 employment contract of support personnel.
8. Discussion and possible board action regarding whether to pay to all full-time teachers on regular contracts employed by the District throughout the 2020/2021 school year, and all full-time support employees employed for the school year, a one-time stipend payment in the amount of $1500.00 and all part-time employees employed for the 2020/2021 school year, a one-time stipend payment in the amount of $500.00 with the stipulation that such stipend amount is payment for services rendered during this school year and is not to become part of the continuing contract of any teacher or support employee, and thus, no teacher or support employee re-employed this school year for a subsequent school year shall have any property right to this stipend in any subsequent fiscal year.
9. Discussion and possible board action regarding changing the payroll date from the last day of each month to the third week of each month.
10. Discussion and possible board action regarding school policy DNA (Teacher Evaluation).
