BANNER PUBLIC SCHOOLS

 

 

As required by Section 311, Title 25 of the Oklahoma Statutes, notice is hereby given that the Board of Education of Elementary School District No. 31 of Canadian County, Oklahoma will hold a REGULAR MEETING on November 14, 2022, at six o’clock p.m., in the Banner School Cafeteria, Banner Public Schools, 2455 N. Banner Road, El Reno, Oklahoma 73036.

 

AGENDA

 

The following is a list of the business to be conducted by the Board of Education at the above meeting:

 

Call meeting to order.

 

Roll call.

 

Board to consider last month’s regular meeting’s minutes with possible action.

 

Communication.

 

PTA Report:  presented PTA schedule of events.

 

Open Issues:

 

  1. Discussion and possible board action regarding the 2023 Board of Education Election Resolution.

 

2.   Discussion and possible action on the Superintendent's recommendation to approve a  contract with United Systems for a proactive support IT contract.

 

3.   Discussion and possible action on review/update of the Banner Reroof project.

 

4.   Discussion and possible board action to add Charlotte Heupel as an authorized  signature on the Activity Fund Bank Account.

 

5.    Board to receive Superintendent’s Evaluation Form.

 

6.   Discussion and possible action on adding Superintendent Evaluation Mini Review dates at the March, June, and September board meeting dates with the final evaluation at the December board meeting each year.

 

      7.   Proposed executive session to discuss the 2022/2023 employment of a support 

           employee  on a temporary contract pursuant to 25 O.S., Section 307(b)1.

 

      8.  Vote to convene or not to convene into executive session.

 

      9.  Acknowledge return to open session.

 

    10.  Executive Session Minutes Compliance Statement.

 

    11.  Discussion and possible board action to employ a support employee on a

            temporary contract for the 2022/2023 school year.

Encumbrance Approval.

Board to consider the following new encumbrances and change orders with possible action.

  1. General Fund New: 70117, 70118-70162 for the amount of $121,683.30
  2. Building Fund New: 7, 8 for the amount of $402,980.50
