BANNER PUBLIC SCHOOLS

 

 

As required by Section 311, Title 25 of the Oklahoma Statutes, notice is hereby given that the Board of Education of Elementary School District No. 31 of Canadian County, Oklahoma will hold a REGULAR MEETING on June 14, 2021, at six o’clock p.m.in the Banner School Cafeteria, Banner Public Schools, located at 2455 N. Banner Road, El Reno, Oklahoma.

The following is a list of the business to be conducted by the Board of Education at the above meeting:

 

Call meeting to order.

 

Roll call.

 

Board to consider last month’s meeting’s minutes with possible action.

 

Communication.

 

PTA Report.

 

Open Issues:

 

1.         ECI Agency to present school insurance renewal options with BOE discussion and possible action regarding the selection of the 2021/2022 school insurance provider and coverage.

 

2.         Discussion and possible board action regarding the contractual agreement between MA+ Architecture and Banner School District for the purpose of an interior renovation project design.

 

3.         Discussion and possible board action regarding the approval of bid packages and guaranteed maximum price for the interior renovations to Banner Public School.  AIA-A133 Exhibit A to the previously entered into contract with Rick Scott Construction Management presented for signature and approval.

 

4.         Discussion and possible board action regarding a Declaration of Emergency and Resolution related to storm(s) pertaining to a date of discovery of damages reported on August 20, 2020.

 

5.         Discussion and possible board action regarding the financial advisory of future bond by Stephen L. Smith.

 

6.         Discussion and possible board action regarding the 2021/2022 Application for Temporary Appropriations.

 

           

7.         Motion to convene in Executive Session to discuss the 2021/2022 employment status of certified teacher: Matt Mohr; the 2021/2022 temporary employment contract of Samantha Smith, the 2021/2022 employment contract of Grant Wilson, the revised employment contract of Michael Prior and the 2021/2022 temporary employment of a certified teacher pursuant to 25 O.S., Section 307(B)(1).

9.         Executive Session Minutes Compliance Statement.

 

10.       Superintendent’s recommendation regarding the 2021/2022 employment status of certified teacher: Matt Mohr; the 2021/2022 temporary employment contract of Samantha Smith, the 2021/2022 employment contract of Grant Wilson, the revised employment contract of Michael Prior and the 2021/2022 temporary employment of a certified teacher .

 

11.       Discussion and possible board action regarding the 2021/2022 employment status of certified teacher: Matt Mohr; the 2021/2022 temporary employment contract of Samantha Smith, the 2021/2022 employment contract of Grant Wilson, the revised employment contract of Michael Prior and the 2021/2022 temporary employment of a certified teacher.

 

12.       Discussion and possible board action regarding the Superintendent’s recommendation to terminate the employment of Lindsay Flynn.

 

13.       Discussion and possible board action to direct the Superintendent to notify Lindsay Flynn of the Board of Education’s decision.

 

14.       Discussion and possible board action regarding the 2021/2022 contractual agreement between Aramark and Banner School for cleaning services.

 

15.       Discussion and possible board action regarding the 2021/2022 contractual agreement between Children’s Justice Center and Banner School District for behavioral services.

 

16.       Discussion and possible board action regarding the 2021/2022 contractual agreement between Payrix Solutions, LLC. For the purpose of child nutrition payments through Infinite Campus.

 

17.       Discussion and possible board action regarding the 2021/2022 Authorized Designee for Federal Expenditure Reports.

 

18.       Discussion and possible board action regarding policy DE-R1 (Salary Schedule).
