As required by Section 311, Title 25 of the Oklahoma Statutes, notice is hereby given that the Board of Education of Elementary School District No. 31 of Canadian County, Oklahoma will hold a REGULAR MEETING on May 08, 2023, at six o’clock p.m., in the Banner School Cafeteria, Banner Public Schools, located at 2455 N. Banner Road, El Reno, Oklahoma.
The following is a list of the business to be conducted by the Board of Education at the above meeting:

Roll call.
Board to consider the following meeting’s minutes with possible action:

1. Board to recognize the 2023 7th/8th grade Girls Track Team State Champions.
2. Discussion and possible action to employ and contract a Transitional Superintendent for the remainder of the 2022-2023 school year.
3. Proposed executive session to discuss
(1) the resignation of Lori Merhib,
(2) the amendments to the contracts of Shawn Robinson and Rita Wally during the
2022-2023 school year. 25 O.S. Sec. 307(B)(1).
4. Vote to convene or not to convene into executive session.
5. Acknowledge return to open session.

7. Discussion and possible action to accept the resignation of Lori Merhib per
written agreement.

Contractual Agreement between Karie Read, School Psychometrist and Banner School

and Policy Renewal.

as Payroll Encumbrance Clerk and Activity Fund Custodian for the 2023/2024 school
year.

Encumbrance Approval:
Board to consider the following encumbrances and change orders with possible action:
a. General Fund New – 186, 187 for a total of $598.00
b. General Fund Change – 9, 70041, 70056, 70057, 70105, 70113, 70164 for an
increase of $21,643.43.
c. Child Nutrition Fund Change – 15 for an increase of $500.00
d. Building Fund Change- 14 for an increase of $9,000.00.
